Gay Brits Come to U.S. for Sex Selection
Well aren't we just the lucky duckies. Less than one month after our gutless wonder elected officials in Washington D.C. refused to ban abortion based on sex selection, we are now seeing what will no doubt become the new popular reason to visit our country. Wow. It will redefine and give a whole new sub-meaning to our tourist industry.
Gay, straight, single female or single male - ya'll come and get it. We are here to serve up whatever you want.
I am so DAMN mad.

Oh gosh, I can't tell you how upset that makes me! Almost wish I had not read it. It's just so wrong. I thought we were better China and 3rd world countries that abort babies based on gender.
What is insane about this is it PROVES that the aborters KNOW that that is a legitimate healthy viable baby, because if its gender had been the one they want they would keep it! It truly makes me sick th mental gymnastics one has to play to "pretend" that baby does not have a life or its own body that should not be tampered with, let alone destroyed. There is no way around this but murder and simply b/c it's the "wrong" gender! This breaks my heart. I can only imagine how God must see this!

Nice to see you again. Yes and obviously it upset me too. We seem to be opening a lot of bad doors in our society in the name of freedom. Just because we have freedom doesn't me we should live in an anything goes society. Real freedom also requires discipline and responsibility. Without it, we have chaos and a downward spiral.
FURTHER THOUGHTS
I've been thinking more about this post and need to expand a little bit. I understand that many might not agree with me and I don't mind. I don't expect a meeting of the minds with all those whom I consider friends. So here goes.
We seem to be opening a lot of wrong doors in our society in the name of freedom. Just because we have freedom doesn't mean we should live in an anything goes society. Real freedom also requires discipline and responsibility and the thoughtful consideration of the consequences of our action. Without it, we have chaos and a social downward spiral.
Having children is a privilege. The the article pointed out, just as we raise our kids with instructions "you get what you get and don't throw a fit", we would do well to follow those instructions ourselves.
This whole matter is especially hurtful to me because not only could my brother and his wife never have chidlren, but my son and his wife cannot have children. They have adoption options, of course, but no one wants to go there if they don't have to. So, when I read of people choosing to not take what God gives them because it’s the wrong sex, I become angry.
So many want a child, any child. The loss of these aborted children is a reminder of what they can't have. That a person consciously chooses to abort a child because it's, of all things, the wrong sex is, in my mind, unconscienable.
